Next month, Obama would be making his first visit to Scotland to address an event that will benefit children’s charities and for his own Obama foundation.
The event, which is organized by The Hunter Foundation (owned by Sir Tom Hunter), will sell the tickets for a table for 10 at the Edinburg dinner for about £5,000. Excited Sir Tom said that he was “really chuffed” that Mr. Obama was going to make the trip. However, it is important to note that he is also planning to invite local young people at the event.
“From the South Side of Chicago to the White house has been an epic, historic journey and it will be a true honor to hear his story from the man who made the journey,” said Sir Tom.
” We are truly both proud and delighted to be hosting the 44the President of the United States in Scotland at this event.”
It is worth noting that the Hunter Foundation had previously organized events that featured 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton, actor George Clooney and actor Leonardo Di Caprio.
“We’re always looking for really inspiring speakers to come along to Scotland and really inspire and inform them,” said Sir Tom.
“To be able to get president Obama we’re really chuffed.”!-- Composite Start -->
